摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of damage due to compression in a second outer ring raceway 6a and a second inner ring raceway 12a when forming a caulk part 14 in an end of a hub main body 8a with orbital forging using a push mold 26. SOLUTION: An outer ring 1a is rotated by a servo motor 36 to make each ball 32, 32 revolve at the same angular velocity with the angular velocity of whirling of the push mold 26. Working direction of a load applied from the push mold 26 to the hub main body 8a is always positioned at an intermediate part between balls 32 and 32 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. With this structure that the only one ball 32 supports the load, an excessive rise of the bearing pressure of an abutment part of the rolling surface of the ball 32 and the second outer ring raceway 6a and the second inner ring raceway 12a can be prevented to solve the described problem.
