<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste gas of a waste melting furnace and a device for it in which hazardous components such as dioxin can be reduced without using special materials or installing a special device. SOLUTION: A device for treating waste gas uses a carbon material as auxiliary fuel. The device for treating the waste gas comprises a coke charging tank 40 provided downstream a temperature reducing tower 32 for cooling the waste gas exhausted from the waste melting furnace 10 to pass the waste gas, a filter type dust collector 45 for collecting the dust of the waste gas exhausted from the coke charging tank 40 and a means for supplying the coke exhausted from the coke charging tank 40 to the waste melting furnace 10.</p> |
