PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact optical switch device which has an improved manufacturing yield and superior expandability of an optical input/output port. SOLUTION: The optical switch device is composed of a plurality of flat-type switch modules 21, arranged in the horizontal direction and arranged in piles in the vertical direction, a plurality of optical paths 24 arranged in the vertical direction along each side 31 of the flat type switch modules 21 and formed on one of the flat type switch modules 21 and a combining switch module 22, which selectively combines the optical paths 24 with a plurality of optical paths 24 formed on another flat type switch modules 21. |
