摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light interference angular velocity meter exerting no effect on linearity capacity even if a scale factor is varied. SOLUTION: The light interference angular velocity meter is equipped with a sine wave component detection circuit applying phase modulation to both clockwise and counterclockwise lights passing through an optical fiber coil, and taking out a component proportional to sinΔϕs (Δϕs : sugnuc phase difference) from the higher harmonic component contained in a photoelectric conversion signal of interference light; a cosine wave component detection circuit for taking out the component proportional to cosΔϕs ; a pulse train generation circuit comprising an integrator for integrating an sinΔϕs component signal, and a comparator for comparing the integral value with the reference value of a reference signal set on the basis of a cosΔϕs component signal to output pulses, and resetting the integrator by the pulses to output a pulse train of the frequency corresponding to the value of an angular velocity signal; and a linearity correction circuit inputting the pulse train from the pulse train generation circuit to form a linearity correction signal on the basis of the pulse train proportional to cumulation at every arbitrary time to add pulses to the pulse train outputted from the pulse train generation circuit or eliminating the same.
