PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head which can stably discharge ink by a substantially uniform liquid amount in a predetermined direction at all times, and a recorder. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording head, at least a peripheral edge part of an ink discharge hole is provided with a film formed by hardening the coating (I) consisting of (a) a fluororesin with a hydroxyl group, (b) a carbinol modified polysiloxane and (c) a hardener.
