PURPOSE: Structure for supporting a rear shock absorber is provided to enhance the stability in a travel and a travel experience and to minimize the lurching, surging and vibration of a vehicle by improving the torsional strength of a vehicle rear part. CONSTITUTION: Structure for supporting a rear shock absorber(30) is formed at both sides of the rear portion of a vehicle. Between the upper portion of both rear spring housings(35) and the lower portion of a package tray panel, a cross reinforcing member(50) is installed. The cross reinforcing member is connected with the rear spring housings, both quarter inner panels(22), and the package tray panel at five supporting points. Thus, the torsional strength of the rear portion of the vehicle is improved.
