<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for the inspection of a motor, where at least one from among the defect and the absence of a varistor arranged and installed at an armature can be determined, and to provide a method of manufacturing the motor. SOLUTION: The motor inspection apparatus is related to the inspection apparatus of the motor 2, at which the varistor 4 is arranged and installed. The apparatus is provided with an AC generator 12, which applies a prescribed AC voltage to the DC power-supply connection part of the motor 2, an AC current converter 6, which measures the AC current waveform of the DC power- supply connection part during at least one rotation of the armature 3 and a determining device 9, in which at least one among the defect and the absence of the varistor 4 is determined by comparing a voltage-current characteristic, obtained from the converter 6 with a preset reference voltage-current characteristic.</p> |
