PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for developing electrostatic latent image where an image formation of high image quality can be carried out without generating any fixing failure by having deformation of the toner particles sufficiently comply to ruggedness of paper or ruggedness of the surface of a heat roller even when a heat roller fixing method is used in combination with polymerized method toner where the particle size distribution and form are made uniform, image forming method and image forming apparatus using the method. SOLUTION: In the toner for developing of electrostatic latent image, it is characteristic that the average degree of roundness is from 0.94 to 0.98, the average value of the diameter that is equivalent to one for a circle is from 2.6 to 7.4μm and the inclination of the degree of roundness against the diameter that is equivalent to one for a circle is from -0.005 to -0.001.
