PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety tire and rim assembly suppressing abrupt lowering of a tire internal pressure after receiving a flaw and allowing a driver to safely and surely responding to an emergency state without impairing the durability and riding comfort in the general traveling before receiving the flaw in the tire. SOLUTION: The hollow doughnut-shaped tire is installed around the applicable rim. Multiple approximately spherical and hollow particles which are composed of a continuous phase of resin and closed cells, whose mean bulk specific gravity under an atmospheric pressure is 0.3 or less, and whose volume under the atmospheric pressure is 0.2 vol.% or more of the tire internal volume are disposed inside the tire partitioned by the tire and the applicable rim. |
