PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording and reproducing device and a method of manufacturing the same, capable of remarkably reducing face vibration and shaft center vibration of a disc in rotation, improving the recording density, realizing a thin device, and inexpensively forming a dynamic pressure generating groove of a fluid bearing part. SOLUTION: A spindle motor of this information recording and reproducing device is composed of a rotary disc 5 formed by integrating a disc part 4 and a rotary cylindrical part 4, a bearing sleeve 6, a thrust supporting plate 7, a rotor yoke 9, and a rotary magnet 10. A mold cleavage line of a tetrameric mold for forming the dynamic pressure generating groove is utilized when the dynamic pressure generating groove of the fluid bearing part is integrally formed on an outer peripheral face of the rotary cylindrical part 4 of the rotary disc 5. |
