PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicide composition including as the active ingredient a substituted pyrazole derivative of the general formula 1 [A and R are each methyl; B is H, Cl, Br or I; D is a (halogen, methyl or cyano-substituted) phenyl; and X is methoxycarbonyl or carboxy group]. SOLUTION: This herbicide composition has a wide herbicidal spectrum, is applicable at low doses, and exhibits sufficient safety to several important crops including rice, wheat and soybean.
