PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a final reduction gear as a front differential and a rear differential in common. SOLUTION: This final reduction gear is provided with a differential carrier 10 supporting a drive pinion shaft 17, and a differential mechanism is built in the differential carrier 10. A supporting cylinder body 14 supporting the drive pinion shaft 17 via bearings 15 and 16 is formed inside the differential carrier 10. A cutout part 28 for guiding lubrication oil scraped up and to flow downward or lubrication oil 27 scraped up onto the side face of the supporting cylinder body 14 to the bearings 15 and 16 is formed in the supporting cylinder body 14. The cutout part 28 is opened to the end face 29 of the supporting cylinder body 14 and extended in the axial direction from it toward the input side part.
