PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material having heat and light resistances of an image after development and suppressing printout (fog change and color tone change) particularly on a viewing box whose surface temperature rises to >=40 deg.C and to provide an image forming method using the material. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material is characterized in that it has a photosensitive layer containing an organic silver salt, silver halide, a reducer and a polyarylsulfone compound of the formula -(Ar-SO2 )n - on a support.
