PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle measuring instrument capable of simply and continuously performing the adjustment of horizontal or vetical level between two separated points and the measurement and setting of an angle on a building site or a civil engineering site. SOLUTION: The leveling string 11 provided to a main body 1 is drawn out of the leveling string drawing-out hole 14 provided to the angle center point of the protractor 6 attached to the main body 1 to be stretched across this instrument and an arbitrary measuring point. The air bubble position between air bubble type levels A (2) and B (3) or levels C (4) and D (5) is adjusted while applying tension to the leveling string at a gripping part 15 by manpower, and an angle is indicated on the leveling string 11 on the angle graduations of the protractor 6.
