PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization of a helical compressor. SOLUTION: A disk shaped front side closing body 12 is joined to a front end surface of a cylinder 11, and a disk shaped rear side closing body 13 is joined to a rear end surface of the cylinder 11. A seal ring 14 intervenes between the front end surface of the cylinder 11 and the front side closing body 12. A seal ring 15 intervenes between the rear end surface of the cylinder 11 and the rear end closing body 13. The cylinder 11, the front side closing body 12 and the rear side closing body 13 constitute a whole housing 10 having a rotating body 18 sealed therein and a compression region So sealed therein.
