PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium improved against bleeding and blocking. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording medium, which is produced by providing at least one ink accepting layer on a transparent support, at least one antistatic prime coating layer is provided on the ink accepting layer side and, in addition an arbitrary layer existing between the antistatic priming layer and the surface of the recording medium includes 10<2> to 10<4> ppm of a compound, which makes a hardly-soluble salt with a sulfonic acid group, per gram of a hydrophilic binder in the arbitrary layer. |
