PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture the substrate of a sunshade for a car having necessary and sufficient mechanical characteristics such as rigidity, shape stability or the like and suppressed in the discharge of noxious formaldehyde. SOLUTION: A diallyl phthalate resin and/or an unsaturated polyester resin containing foamable thermoplastic fine spheres is infiltrated into web materials 2 and 3 to manufacture a foamable thermosetting resin sheet 7. The foamable thermosetting resin sheets 7 are superposed on both surfaces of a porous core material 8 such as a paper honeycomb structure or the like and the whole is thermoformed to allow the resin to enter the internal spaces of the porous core material 8.
