PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double floor which prevents warping, lifting, opening and the like without adopting any specific measures or the like, such as large- scale ventilation equipment, for avoiding a change in dimensions due to absorption of moisture, even when the floor has a large floor area, as in the case of a gymnasium, and which is also excellent in durability. SOLUTION: The double floor is constructed by laminating a finish material 3 on the upper surface of a substrate material 1 with a sacrifice board 2 interlaid. The substrate material 1 is constituted of a synthetic resin material and the sacrifice board 2 is constituted of a woody material. It is preferable that the substrate material 1 is constituted of a thermoplastic resin and that the flexural strength of the substrate material 1 is 14-50 N/mm<2> and the Young's modulus in flexure thereof 1300-4800 N/mm<2> .
