PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen indicator whose degradation due to its storage under a high-temperature environment or due to its long-term storage is prevented in the oxygen indicator which is composed of at least an oxidation- reduction pigment, a reducing agent which can wholly change the pigment into a reduction type under the existence of water, water or alcohol and a bonding agent. SOLUTION: Tocopherol or the like as an antioxidant is added in 500 to 50,000 ppm, a heat-resistant property is given to the oxygen indicator, and the oxygen detecting capability of the oxygen indicator is maintained for a long period.
