PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for sealing a container with excellent sealing characteristics for accommodating openings of various shapes of the container and airtightly and simply attaching probes or the like to the container. SOLUTION: Both ends of a tube 1, which can outwardly expand by injection of fluid and has openings at the both ends, are attached to a base substance 2. A passage 5 is formed in the base substance 2 to supply and exhaust the fluid into the tube 1 attached to the base substance 2. A communicating passage 8, which is independent of the passage 5, is formed in the base substance 2 to communicate the inside of the container 10 to the outside of the base substance 2 in condition that an inside peripheral surface of the opening 11 of the container is sealed by the tube 1 expanded. A small diameter part 2A is formed so that a diameter of a part of the base substance 2 to which a one end side 1A of the tube 1, which is a tip side when the device for sealing is inserted into the opening 11 of the container 10, is attached, is smaller than the diameter of a part of the base substance 2 to which an another end side 1B of the tube 1 is attached. A communicating tube 12 forming the communicating passage 8 is inserted with leaving clearance only in the passage 5 so that part of the communicating passage 8 is formed in the passage 5 for supplying and exhausting the fluid. At least both ends of an outside peripheral side of the communicating tube 12 in the outside of the passage 5, are sealed.
