PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the protuberance of a projecting strip in the front in a bent part on the lower end side in a corner member for a projected or recessed corner provided between sidings and thereby to prevent impairment of a waterproof function between the corner member and the sidings due to interference of the fit of the corner member by the protuberance. SOLUTION: A notch 8 is provided in the projecting strip 4 in the rear out of a pair of projecting strips 3 and 4 of the same height, which form a recessed groove for fit in the lower end of the corner member A, and in the recessed groove 5 for fit, while a shallow slender groove 9 is provided in the top face of the projecting strip 3 in the front so that it covers a position of bend of the corner member. By conducting bending at an angle of 90 degrees by a press in this state, a strain brought about in the bent part is absorbed by the slender groove 9 and thereby occurrence of the protuberance is prevented.
