PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition having excellent transparency and having a persistent antistatic effect, and to provide a film. SOLUTION: This polyethylene resin composition contains a polyethylene resin and a potassium ionomer, wherein the polyethylene resin is produced by using a metallocene catalyst and has a density of 0.910-0.923 g/cm<3> . The potassium ionomer is preferably contained in an amount of 10-20 wt.% based on the amount of the polyethylene resin. The film is given by using the composition.
