PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation feeling of a brake pedal for operating a front wheel master cylinder of a motorcycle. SOLUTION: This brake controlling method is for the motorcycle provided with the front wheel master cylinder, a front wheel cylinder which can be liquid- connected to the front wheel master cylinder, a rear wheel master cylinder, a rear wheel cylinder which can be liquid-connected to the rear wheel master cylinder, and a hydraulic pump. When only the front wheel master cylinder is operated, brake pressurizing liquid is supplied to the front wheel cylinder, and the hydraulic pump is driven to supply discharge pressurizing liquid of the hydraulic pump to the rear wheel cylinder.
