PURPOSE: Provided is a device for catching the nocturnal fish in the river or lake such as catfish and eel, which is environment friendly because it does not pollute the river or lake. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a cylindrical main body(2) with the entrance(21) at the top, the several water exits(22) at the bottom part and symmetrical go-through grooves(23) at the entrance(21) part; an insertion parts(3) with a holding sill at one end which is inserted into the main body with the go-through grooves(23) and fixed; a fixing part(4) which protrudes into the go-through grooves(23) and which is located at the holding sill of the insertion part; a bending node part which is closely adhered to the holding sill of the insertion part and binding holes of several elastic pieces which become narrower in one direction from the bending node part and a fixed string with buoy on the main body for easy location of the device.
