PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR device capable of returning cleaned exhaust gas to an internal combustion engine and having good loadability on vehicle. SOLUTION: The EGR device is provided with a post-treating device (5) disposed at an engine exhaust system and cleaning exhaust gas; an outer conduit (6) which surrounds a post-treating device and into which the exhaust gas cleaned at the post-treating device can flow; and an EGR passage (8) extending from this outer conduit to an engine intake system. After the exhaust gas discharged from the engine flows into the post-treating device and is cleaned, it is discharged to the outside. A part of the cleaned exhaust gas flowing from the post-treating device to the outer conduit is returned from the outer passage to the engine intake system through the EGR passage as EGR gas.
