PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a self-adhesive film for protecting an optical sheet, characterized in that it is excellent in protective performances for an optical sheet, that it permits precise inspection of defects of the optical sheet with a self-adhesive film left stuck thereto that it causes no sticking of an adhesive in processing or conveyance of the optical sheet, that it allows the surface- protective film to be easily released from the optical sheet, and the like. SOLUTION: This self-adhesive film for protecting the optical sheet comprises a plastic film, an antistatic layer formed on one surface thereof, a self-adhesive layer formed further on the antistatic layer, and a contamination-preventing layer formed on the other surface, where the total light transmittance of the self-adhesive film is at least 80% and the self-adhesive tape peeling strength of the contamination-preventing layer is 0.1-3.5 N/25 mm. |
