PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive part insertion chuck finger of a part insertion device capable of surely holding parts to be inserted having a plurality of outer form sizes including a small size and inserting the parts into an insertion object at high density. SOLUTION: A pair of finger parts 31, 32 for holding and inserting the part to be inserted (electric part 2 in Fig. 2) are provided with part holding faces 311, 321 in their tip parts, projections for insertion 312, 322 in upper end parts of the part holding faces 311, 321, and relief grooves 314, 324 for letting the projections for insertion 312, 322 come in positions opposing to the projections for insertion 312, 322. Lower faces of the projections for insertion 312, 322 become part pressing faces when inserting the part to be inserted into the insertion object. |
