PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive original plate for a planographic printing plate excellent in printing durability even if a plastic film support is used, capable of forming an image having no stain and excellent in image quality and capable of being manufactured by simple treatment on a printing press. SOLUTION: The original plate is obtained by successively providing an intermediate layer (A) containing metal oxide particles, a hydrophilic layer (B) and a thermal recording layer (C) containing a polymeric compound having a functional group generating sulfonic acid by heating on the plastic film support. The functional group generating sulfonic acid by heating is preferably represented by at least one of formulae (1), (2) and (3) (wherein, L is a multivalent organic group comprising a nonmetal atom necessary for bonding each of these functional groups to a polymer skeleton, R<1> is an aryl group, a cyclic imide group or the like and R<2> , R<3> and R<4> are each an aryl group, an alkyl group or the like. |
