The sley assembly for a loom has a sley profile (1), a reed (2) and a drive (3), where the sley carries the reed, and is linked to the drive. The sley profile is in at least two separate parts as a main profile part (4) and an auxiliary profile part (5), with a direct or indirect release connection between them. The sley profile carries a main jet (6), to carry a weft yarn (7) through the reed in a fluid flow stream, and a tandem jet (8) supports the main jet. |
