GROOVE TYPE SPINDLE MOTOR HUB WOUND WITH O-RING FOR DISC CENTERING

摘要

PURPOSE: A groove type spindle motor hub wound with an O-ring for the disc centering is provided to mount elastomers in clearances between disc center holes and a spindle motor hub for improving the static and dynamic balance of the spindle motor and the disc assembly. CONSTITUTION: A groove type spindle motor hub wound with an O-ring for the disc centering includes a motor hub(40), discs(12) and elastomers(42) for connecting the disc to the motor hubs, wherein the elastomers are to be O-rings to be positioned in grooves(44) of the motor hub for forming inward force for keeping the O-rings into the grooves by the tension of the elastomeric material.
