PURPOSE: A control device used in a condenser type spot/projection welder is provided to improve convenience of use and to allow a user to frequently inspect/check the state of a welder by forming a handling section of the control device with a touch panel. CONSTITUTION: A control board(40) of a welder control device includes a ROM(43) for storing a control program, a RAM(45) providing a working space for executing the control program stored in the ROM(43), a CPU(41) for controlling a welding work, a timer(47) for measuring a working time, and a counter(49). An error detecting section(51) is provided to inspect an operation of a welder. An A/D converter(53) is provided to supply direct current by converting AC into DC. A charging/discharging control section(55) charges or discharges electricity into/from a condenser by detecting a signal transmitted from the CPU(41). A welding control section is provided to control the welding work.
