PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, capable of preventing the temperature rise of a polygon motor and the lowering of the image forming performance of an imaging means. SOLUTION: A copying machine 40 is equipped with a write unit 13 for conducting optical writing on a photoreceptor 1, and the unit 13 is equipped with the polygon motor 7 for driving a polygon mirror 7a, an imaging part 10 for forming image on the photoreceptor 1 with light deflected by the mirror 7a, and a casing 21 for housing them. The casing 21 is equipped with a motor housing part 21a for housing the motor 7 and an imaging housing part 21b for housing the imaging part 10, then the housing part 21a is constituted of a member, having thermal conductivity higher than the housing part 21b. |
