PIEZOELECTRIC ACTUATOR, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND INK JET PRINTING HEAD WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the trouble of printing irregularities of printed matter and failures of an ink jet printing head to be caused by adverse effects to characteristics of the ink jet printing head such as an ink discharge speed irregularity and a life of a laminated piezoelectric element which result from a positional deviation and deformation due to a difference of thermal coefficients of expansion between a channel formation member and the laminated piezoelectric element, and a member for supporting the laminated piezoelectric element in the long ink jet printing head. SOLUTION: A base member is formed like a plate. Supporting substrates are fixed to both planes of the base member to be positionally symmetric and have the same dimensional shape. Moreover, the base member and the channel formation member are formed of a material having the same coefficient of linear expansion.
