PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device of a transmission capable of preventing an actuator from operating when such a non-steady state of the shift operation device that the reliability of detection signals from a shift detection sensor is lowered is detected. SOLUTION: A shift operation part 26 electrically detecting a shift operation for selecting the shift positions of A/T 6 is installed in the operator's seat side door of a vehicle. An A/TECU 40 drives a motor 10 based on the detection signals from the shift detection sensor 44 to switch the shift positions of the A/T 6.
