PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a toggle link type injection molding mechanism capable of corresponding to the molding of a thick or thin article and controlled in injection speed and injection pressure or dwelling in an extremely simple manner. SOLUTION: The toggle link type injection molding mechanism is constituted of an injection cylinder (2) having a metering cylinder (4), an injection cylinder attaching plate (3) having the base of the injection cylinder (2) mounted thereon and fixed to a machine stand (C), a link plate (7) arranged behind the injection cylinder attaching plate (3), a tie bar (9), the screw holding plate (5) provided to the tie bar (9) and having the base of the metering screw 4 mounted thereon, a link side moving plate (6) mounted on the screw holding plate (5) so as to be moved in a forward and backward direction and provided with a spaced- apart distance adjusting part (D) for adjusting the spaced-apart distance (d) with the screw holding plate (5), and a toggle link mechanism (T) for driving the link side moving plate (6) forwardly and rearwardly.
