PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogenated hydantoin compound-stabilized composition easy to handle. SOLUTION: This composition is a disinfectant composition which is characterized in being obtained by dispersing a halogenated hydantoin compound in a solvent consisting (mainly) of water using as a dispersant at least one compound selected from polycarboxylic acid salt, alkyl sulfate salt bearing straight- chain and saturated alkyl group, alkylsulfonate salt, fatty acid salt and alkylphosphate salt.
