PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a forming cycle by causing a formed temperature to be rapidly attained. SOLUTION: A package heater 6 is housed within a press shaft 11 at the back of an upper die 1 and a package heater 7 is housed within a press shaft 12 at the back of a lower die 2. The upper side 1 is internally provided with a thermocouple 9 as a temperature detector and the temperature of the upper die 1 is controlled by using the detection signal of the thermocouple 9 as the feedback signal of the current supplied from a power source of the package heater 6. Likewise, the lower die 1 is internally provided with a thermocouple 10 and the output of the package heater 7 is controlled by this thermocouple 10. The flank of an upper mold 3 which has the temperature higher than that of a lower mold 4 is mounted with a thermocouple 8 to control the output of an IR lamp heater 5.
