<p>The protector consists of a series of one-piece L-section slabs (1) of a rigid material, each with a horizontal side (4) resting on the upper edge of the pool's vertical wall, and a vertical side (5) extending inside the upper portion of the wall and overlapping the exposed upper edge of the liner, while the water level in the pool is regulated so that it comes up to the lower edge (6) of the slab's vertical side. The edging slabs are made from a mortar-based material such as white cement and two colours of sand incorporating latex and a waterproofing product.</p> |
