PURPOSE: An audio reproducing system and a method thereof are provided to reproduce audio files stored in a computer memory for overcoming the limit in the memory capacitance. CONSTITUTION: An audio reproducing system includes an audio reproducing unit(30) having a memory for storing audio files, an output part for outputting the audio files, and a charging part for supplying power, and a computer(10) having a memory(25) for storing audio files reproducible by the audio reproducing unit, wherein the computer includes a mounting part(15) for mounting the audio reproducing unit, a mounting sensing part(21) for sensing whether the audio reproducing unit is mounted in the mounting part, an interface part(24) for the transmission of audio files between the computer and the audio reproducing part, and a control part(20) for outputting the audio files stored in the computer memory to the audio reproducing unit via the interface part to be output via the output part, as an audio file is selected while the audio reproducing unit is mounted.
