摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering cobalt and lithium from an electrode material for a battery, which contains cobalt and lithium, through separating them from other components by a simple means. SOLUTION: In the method for recovering cobalt and lithium from the battery material containing cobalt and lithium as electrode materials, the electrode materials are dissolved into sulfuric acid to form a solution in which cobalt ions and lithium ions are dissolved, and the solution is separated from insoluble components. By this method, cobalt and lithium can be recovered by a simple and inexpensive method, that is a sulfuric acid dissolution method.</p>
