<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a ceramic pipe, by which the deformation of a formed body is suppressed when it is dried, and to provide an apparatus for drying the ceramic formed body with which the deformation of the formed body is suppressed when it is dried. SOLUTION: The method of producing the ceramic pipe includes a process for forming a tubular ceramic formed body having a rotation body-like form and a drying process for drying the formed body. In the drying process, the formed body is laid and rotated in the circumferential direction. The rotation treatment of the formed body can be performed using the apparatus for drying the ceramic formed body. In a rotation device 20 being a main constitutive part of the drying apparatus has a drying pedestal 30 on which the formed body 90 is mounted in a laid state. In the drying pedestal 30, two rollers 31 brought into contact with the peripheral wall of the formed body 90 in the longitudinal direction are provided. The rollers 31 are driven so as to rotate by the traveling of a chain 41 for the rotation of the rollers, thereby the formed body 90 is rotated in the circumferential direction.</p> |
