PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger, in which disposal of scraps 91 is easy and heat exchangers can be produced efficiently in the work for blanking out a tank members 41 having caulking claws 411, 412 from a sheet metal 9. SOLUTION: The calulking claws comprises claws 411 long enough to reach the edge of the sheet material 9 and claws 412 shorter than the claw 411. In the blanking work, scraps 91 are cut off in the parts of the long claws 411 formed at constant intervals.
