METHOD FOR GENE THERAPY OF CANCER USING CO-EXPRESSION OF ANTI-APOPTOTIC GENES AND SUICIDE GENES

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for gene therapy of cancer by co-expression of anti-apoptotic genes and suicide genes to increase apoptosis of cancer cells. It can be effectively applied to a carcinoma which is hardly treated by chemotherapy. CONSTITUTION: The method for gene therapy of cancer is characterized by co-expression of anti-apoptotic genes and suicide genes, therefore it increases apoptosis of cancer cells, wherein the suicide gene is preferably HSV-TK(Herpes simplex virus-thymidine kinase). An E. coli transformant pGT60Bfl-1(KCLRF-BP-00045) is obtained by transformation with a recombinant vector, pGT60Bfl-1 including both genes.
