PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a germicidal composition for industry, capable of exhibiting excellent controlling activities against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, alga or the like. SOLUTION: This germicidal composition for the industry is obtained by formulating sulfamic acid and/or a salt thereof, and optionally at least one kind of a compound selected from the group consisting of an isothiazoline-based compound, a nitroalcohol-based compound, a dithiol-based compound, a thiophene-based compound and a holocyanoacetamide-based compound.
