PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach/detach an exhaust manifold to/from a cylinder head with ease while effectively shielding heat and exhaust noise emitted from the exhaust manifold by a cover. SOLUTION: The exhaust manifold 17 comprises an attachment flange 21 fastened to the cylinder head 13 by bolts 26, 28, and four exhaust pipes 23a-23d extending from the attachment flange 21. The cover 18 covering the exhaust manifold 17 consists of a first half cover body 24 integratedly welded to the attachment flange 21 at welding parts of the exhaust pipes 23a-23d and a second half cover body 25 to be attachably/detachably fixed on the first half cover body 24. This prevents bolts 26, 28 from interfering with the cover 18, thereby facilitating the attachment/detachment work of the exhaust manifold 17 without detaching the cover 18 from the exhaust manifold 17.
