PURPOSE: An inner rotor motor and a disk device are provided to cut down manufacturing cost, to downsize and lighten the device, to hold the rotation safety of the motor, and to improve the motion safety of the disk device. CONSTITUTION: An inner rotor motor is composed of a rotor(2) having a plurality of magnetic poles circumferentially arranged, and a stator(3) including a stator core(31) having a plurality of magnetic pole teeth(33-38) which are positioned on the outer side of the circumference of the rotor and opposed to the rotor and a coil being provided on each of the magnetic pole teeth. The stator locates in the range of 180 degrees or less with respect to the center of the rotor.
