PURPOSE: An attendant board device of an exchange is provided to connect a computer having an ATIB(ATT(ATTendant) Interface Board) to the exchange, so as to use the exchange as the attendant board device. Accordingly, the exchange and the attendant board device have extended use ranges and are easily used because a specific protocol therebetween is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: A LAN(Local Area Network) card interfaces with an exchange(10) in digital, to transceive necessary functional service information and a predetermined protocol. An ATIB(18) interfaces with the exchange(10) in analog, to transceive dialing signals and voice signals. In the ATIB(18), an interface part(30) interfaces with a computer. A controller(32) controls DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) transmission and ringing. A DTMF transmission part(34) transmits DTMF signals by dialing under control of the controller(32). A ringing part(36) rings when a call is received from the other party under control of the controller(32). A voice transceiving part(38) respectively connects with the exchange(10), DTMF transmission part(34) and ringing part(36) to transmit and receive voice of a subscriber, and receives the DTMF signals from the DTMF transmission part(34) to deliver the DTMF signals to the exchange(10). And a power generator(40) receives power applied from the computer, to convert the applied power into minus power and supplies the converted power to the voice transceiving part(38).
