EMBOSSED WALLPAPER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain novel vinyl chloride-free wallpaper excellent from an aspect of functionality and quality by adapting heat-fusible core-sheath composite fibers to wallpaper. SOLUTION: Surface paper and lining paper 18 are laminated by an emulsion type adhesive 17 to obtain the wallpaper. Strong thermal emboss processing is applied to the surface of the surface paper so as to develop marks 20 on the surface of the lining paper 18. The surface paper has a multilayered structure comprising a surface layer 13 in which an aluminum hydroxide powder is not dispersed and a back surface layer 15 in which the aluminum hydroxide powder is dispersed. The surface layer 13 is constituted of staple fiber pieces 12 of heat-fusible core-sheath composite fibers, which contain a heat-fusible polymer as a sheath component and a polymer having a melting point higher than that of the heat-fusible polymer as a core component, and vegetable pulp fibers 11. The staple fiber pieces 12 has a length of 15 mm or less and a fineness of 3 dtex or less.
