PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce not only the in let resistance of the air sucked into a blower through an intake box, but also the noise. SOLUTION: In the intake box 8 of a vehicle air conditioner which has the blower 3, an evaporator 4, a hot water heater, and an air mix door for temperature adjustment in an air-conditioning case 2, disposed on the upstream side of the blower of the vehicle air conditioner for supplying the temperature- adjusted air into a cabin, and introduces the outside air and the inside air in an adequately selective manner, the case of the intake box is formed cylindrical. An outside air suction port and an inside air suction port are formed in the case. The inside air suction port is formed in the vicinity of a tongue part which is a scroll start of the blower.
