PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply realize a base isolation structure even when using an existing metallic pipe as a foundation pile in a pile of a small scale house such as an ordinary house. SOLUTION: A base isolation pile head member is composed of a short circular column member 4 which can be put and fixed to an upper end face 1a of the foundation pile 1 composed of the metallic pipe driven into the ground 2 and an upper lid member 5 having a receive hole 5a covering the short circular column member 4 from an upper face to the foundation pile 1 and having an inside diameter larger than an outside diameter of the short circular column member 4 and having an upper face part 5c integrated with a foundation part of a building 3. An upper end face 4a of the short circular column member 4 comes into contact with an inner bottom face 5b of the receive hole of the upper lid member 5 on a recessed and projecting spherical face for receiving them mutually.
